According to reports compiled by Statista, this industry is expected to grow at a rate of 10.8% per year for the next 5 years, with no signs of slowing down after that. It’s filled with a lot of well-known brands that (unfortunately) manufacture overseas, but also a lot of new companies emerging with homegrown product lines. Producing American made outdoor gear helps brands not only control product quality, but also environmental friendliness. Just like we preserve our time-honored American traditions, manufacturers should help us preserve our land as well. For these reasons and more, we’re digging in to find the newcomers and the mainstays that are producing American made sports and outdoor gear across a variety of categories.
