4Patriots is an emergency preparedness outfitter based in the United States. The company was founded in 2008 by Allen and Erin Baler, a couple set on helping families prepare for natural disasters or emergency situations.
The products offered by 4Patriots include solar power banks, water filters, shelf-stable survival food, flashlights, and more. If you can think of something important to have during an emergency, 4Patriots sells it. In fact, they probably sell what you wouldn’t think of.
The company employs over 200 people, most based out of Nashville, Tennessee. They ship products across the US and Canada, serving over 8 million since they opened in 2008. The company is headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, but has warehouses in Salt Lake City, Utah, Atlanta, and Georgia.
The name nearly says it all, “4Patriots,” doesn’t it? But does that and the American flag company logo mean that their products are as American as they are? We decided to investigate.
Verdict: Are 4Patriots Products Made in the USA?
Only some 4Patriots products are made or assembled in the USA. The majority of 4Patriots products are not made here in the US, and many of their products are manufactured in China and other Asian countries.
4Patriots knows that their customer base is a group of people to whom domestic manufacturing is important. However, a search on their website for “Made in USA” yields zero results. But when we checked a few product pages, we found them clearly labeled if the product was made or processed in America.
Instead of searching for every item, we decided to ask outright, “Are your products made here?” So that’s what we did. Entering into a chat with their customer service, the representative we spoke to responded quickly with the synopsis below:
Their electronics are made in China. Other product categories potentially are, but would take individual checking. Food and supplements are produced in the US. Know that “produced” doesn’t necessarily mean “made.” Food items are made with multiple ingredients, and it’s important to keep this in mind when analyzing where exactly something is wholly manufactured.

These food items are not labeled “Made in the USA,” and there is a reason for that. You can’t label something as made in America if it’s simply packed here. So, they’re aptly labeled:
The 4Patriots customer service employee told us that some complete categories, like electronics, are made overseas. This point was also stated in their FAQs section:
So far, it looks like most of the products sold by 4Patriots are manufactured abroad. Straying from the food and electronics categories, we found some items that are made in the USA. As expected, these products were clearly labeled.

Most of the products sold by 4Patriots are not manufactured in the United States. There is a random smattering of items that are, but to find them, you’ve got to sleuth. 4Patriots is mostly a third-party seller and only “makes” a few of its own items. The majority of what they sell is made overseas and shipped to their US-based warehouses for distribution.
