Established in 2009, Brooklyn Slate Company is one of the largest purveyors of American-made slate products, which are sourced from the New York/Vermont Slate Valley. Slate is one of the most durable stones which are naturally occurring. The New York/Vermont Slate Valley is world famous for producing slate which is used on residential, industrial, and commercial properties, such as roofs that can last for two hundred years or more.
