As a handyman, John found it incredibly frustrating using stud finders that didn’t work. After years of seeking a fair funding deal and eventually managing to get his product manufactured overseas in China, he realized that the product was nowhere near the quality that he had created. So in 2013, he got out of the deal and renamed his invention to StudPoP. Selling it on Amazon, John has now sold over 150,000 units (as of 2021) and has over 2000+ reviews with an average of a 4.5 out of 5-star rating. The product is now manufactured in the USA and has been much more successful since.
