About
Since 1979, Maple Landmark has been crafting educational toys, games, and gifts, all made from wood and manufactured to be eco-friendly. Employing 40 locals in Vermont, they pride themselves on supporting local companies, especially those that operate sustainably and responsibly. Their aim is to produce superior quality products that are safe for children. The family-owned business has grown quickly in its time – their two biggest successes were in 1993 with the launch of their incredibly popular NameTrain concept and in 2007 when there were numerous recalls of imported toys from China due to unsafe lead paint and other hazards. Maple Landmark’s safe toys and range of “Schoolhouse Naturals” with no finishes or inks became incredibly popular. They’ve now grown their product line to over 1000 items and offer custom toys.
