Grand New Flag was founded by Philip Kauppinen, who was inspired to start the company after buying a flag in the summer of 2011. Philip had always had great respect for the military, having an army veteran father who died in 2008, leaving a great void in Philip’s life. He looked to create a business that could be his vehicle for giving thanks to those who have and currently serve their country. Now, Grand New Flag sells flags and flagpoles that give back to veterans and active duty members, as well as supporting American manufacturers.
