About
Bar Harbor Weathervanes and Cupolas’s founder started crafting weathervanes in 1971 out of his garage and enjoyed the process so much that he quit his day job to become a full-time coppersmith and weathervane maker. Bar Harbor Weathervanes and Cupolas are now in their third generation of copper artists who continue to make copper weathervanes and art for generations to come using traditional hand-hammering techniques. Though they’re primarily known for crafting weathervanes, they also make cupolas and wind chimes.
