Made in Michigan

Michigan is such a beautiful state in our great nation. It is in the heart of the Midwest and touches a ton of the Great Lakes – Lake Superior, Lake Huron, Lake Erie, and of course Lake Michigan are all touching the state border. But beautiful landscapes isn’t all this great state has going for it. Michigan has been at the heart of American manufacturing for a long time. It is widely considered to be “home” to our American auto industry and for good reason – the Big Three manufacturers in the United States – Ford, General Motors, and Chrysler – are all headquartered in the Detroit metro area. And Michigan is home to more than just the automotive industry. The vast landscapes of the Upper Peninsula are home to a lot of natural resources that make forestry and agriculture a thriving industry in the state. The rest of Michigan is focused in a lot of other industries. You might not expect it, but Michigan ranks 4th in the U.S. in high tech employment with over half a million American workers in tech. Anyways, there is a lot to love about their people, economy, and all the small businesses around the great state of Michigan.
