Zpacks designs and manufactures ultralight gear for adventurers. The company was founded by “Samurai” Joe Valesko in 2005 when he couldn’t find gear that met his needs while preparing for a thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail. Fueled by his own passion for lightweight and functional gear, Joe started producing his designs in his apartment and eventually began selling them online. Zpacks has since grown, employing adventurers with extensive hiking experience to create a premier collection of ultralight gear. All their products are sewn in their facility in West Melbourne, FL, USA. Note, they use some imported materials.
