Tactile Turn was founded in 2012 by Will Hodges, who wanted to create well-made, thoughtfully designed pens. Frustrated by the world’s disconnection with where we buy from, Will wanted to make small-scale manufacturing accessible. He started making pens using a WWII-era lathe in a rented 160-square-foot space in a friend’s workshop. Now operating out of a 9,000 square-foot using state-of-the-art machinery, Tactile Turn hand-machine pens are for people tired of overpriced plastic junk. All of their products are designed, machined, assembled, and shipped from their facility in Texas and come with a lifetime warranty. They take pride in doing everything in-house, even down to the screws and packaging.
