The origin of Skinner American Goods began in 2014 when founder Daniel Skinner spontaneously bought a vintage Singer sewing machine from a thrift shop. After crafting pillowcases and totes in his college bedroom, he started making jeans and became committed to making the perfect pair. Daniel found that vintage sewing machines offered higher stitch quality and collected nearly 20 more vintage industrial machines over the next 5 years. Now, operating out of the funky Railroad Square Air District in Florida, Skinner American Goods crafts fine denim and leather goods using American-sourced raw materials. Each piece is crafted by hand.
