Pint Size Production came up with its concept after struggling to find children’s board books made in the USA. Looking for something where they could rely on good quality and shorter wait times, they decided to set up their own business. Setting up in New York, they started to print board books in all different pages and trim sizes with a competitive turnaround time of three-to-six weeks. They next looked to make them safe for babies grabbing and chewing them, and so made their books CPSIA and ASTM safety compliant. After producing board books for children’s author and illustrator, Sandra Boynton, Pint Size Production then started to make on-demand board books where customers can upload their own photos and text, becoming the only factory capable of doing so.
