Outrider USA is an electric trike company that started in Boone, NC. It was founded by Dan and Tommy, who were roommates and avid mountain bikers. They decided to build a high-speed electric bike to address the dangerous and slow commute to their college campus. Over the years, Outrider USA went through multiple iterations, starting with the T-WREX and eventually leading to the Horizon and Alpha models. These trikes are designed for commuting and offer pedal and electric power options, full suspension, and adaptive features.
They source a lot of materials internationally, but that’s par for the course in the e-bike industry. Everything is assembled in North Carolina.
