About
KitchenAid was founded in 1919 by the Hobart American Manufacturing Company to create kitchen stand mixers for baking. Its design has changed little since the 1930s. Now, KitchenAid is one of the biggest American home appliance brands and is owned by Whirlpool Corporation. They are best known for their stand mixers and started manufacturing other appliances like dishwashers in 1949, which have become known for their high quality, durability, and advanced features. They’ve also become synonymous for their American-made excellence. A lot of KitchenAid appliances are made in the USA at their facility in Findlay, Ohio.
