KettlePizza was founded in 2005 after founder Al Contarino found himself getting frustrated when the removal of a grill lid led to stalled cooking because of the lack of heat. He looked to create a new type of gas grill that maintained heat despite an open lid but found many issues around licensing. So, he decided to develop a product that worked with existing grills. KettlePizza’s oven inserts work in both charcoal and gas grills and contain the heat for a great pizza. KettlePizza is committed to manufacturing as much in the USA as it can and was recognized in 2019 at the White House’s 3rd Annual Made in the USA Product Showcase.
