About
Kermit Chair Company was created by motorcyclist Kermit Easterling who struggled to find a lightweight chair that could be carried on his motorcycle while also being sturdy enough for long nights at a campfire. He decided to create his own chair that would satisfy his needs, and soon friends and family wanted a chair, and the business was created. Kermit has since retired and passed the business onto long-time friend Tom Sherill. The Kermit Chair Company now has three family-run facilities in Nashville and makes their chair in the USA using locally sourced white oak.
