Dave Goode has always been an avid skier – becoming a snow ski race athlete at 19 years old. He started his company right out of high school, determined to be on the U.S. Ski Team; he used this passion to create the best possible products for athletes on the snow and water. Goode manufactures skis and skiing accessories but is world-renowned for being the first company to make carbon fiber ski poles which was revolutionary as they’d only been made out of aluminum at that point.
