About

Franklin-Christoph originated in 1901 in Marietta, GA, and was known for manufacturing fine and basic ceramic products. The company changed and moved over the years, with an IPO fountain pen being presented to the Franklin-Christoph brand in 2001. It’s from this point that they chose to focus on making fountain pens. The company moved to a newly constructed facility in Raleigh, North Carolina, in 2021. Franklin-Christoph manufactures all of its acrylic fountain pens in the USA. However, some of their metal ballpoint and fountain pens are sourced overseas (primarily Europe), they source their nibs from Germany, and their accessories are sourced from Europe and India. Their pen product pages state if the pen is made in the USA.
