Eighth Generation is a Native-owned art and lifestyle brand based in Seattle. Founded in 2008 by Louie Gong (Nooksack) and the Snoqualime Tribe, they provide a strong and ethical alternative to “Native-inspired” art and products. They sell a variety of 100% Native-designed home goods and gifts, including wool and cotton blankets, scarves, jewelry, kitchenware, socks, pillows, and more. Eighth Generation became the first Native-owned business in the US or Canada to sell Native-designed wool blankets in 2015, reclaiming the market dominated by non-Native companies.
