Chilewich was established in 2000 by designer Sandy Chilewich and architect Joe Sultan. Chilewich is on a mission to provide woven textiles that can be used in both residential and commercial spaces that have innovative patterns and multi-tonal colors. Chilewich renews its collections seasonally and aims to reach a broad audience with its designs, regardless of culture, tastes, and income levels. They manufacture rugs, placemats, and baskets. All of their products are made in the USA, aside from a few designs listed on their website’s FAQ page.
