Golden Bear pencils were launched by Cal Cedar to be a high-quality everyday pencil that could be used at home, in the classroom, or in the office. Golden Bear pencils are made from genuine California-grown incense cedar, they have a graphite core and are certified non-toxic. They also come in both orange and blue finishes. These pencils have become particularly popular with teachers due to their quality and affordability. It’s important to note that the production of these pencils moved to the USA in 2012, so it is possible to buy earlier versions that were made in Thailand. USA-made versions feature “USA” in gold on the side.
