BlueStar originated in 1880 under the name of Prizer-Painter Stove Works, Inc. They manufactured a full line of residential and commercial coal ranges, hot water heaters, furnaces, and heating stoves at their factory in Reading, PA. Their products grew over time, and in 2002, they introduced handcrafted restaurant-quality ranges under the BlueStar brand. With the introduction of iconic star-shaped open burners and commercial-grade stainless steel, they were the first professional-grade ranges for the home cook. BlueStar has since become a leader in interchangeable, flexible ranges that come in over 1000 different colors and five distinct finishes. BlueStar is proud to have been handmade in the USA since 1880.
