Bike Friday is a second-generation family business based in Eugene, Oregon. Founded in 1992 by brothers Alan and Hanz Scholz, Bike Friday was born out of their passion for cycling and their desire to create personalized, high-performance bikes for riders. The company takes a unique approach to manufacturing, starting with the customer and building bikes to fit their body, lifestyle, and riding style. Unfortunately, they have to source some materials internationally, though. That’s very common in this e-bike industry, so we still wanted to include them here since they assemble everything stateside.
