Baabaazuzu manufactures upcycled cold-weather accessories at its location in Lake Leelanau, Michigan. The eco-fashion house, owned and designed by Sue Burns (Zuzu is her nickname), produces sweater mittens, fingerless gloves, scarves, hats, bags, jackets, vests, slippers, stockings, and pins from salvaged, reclaimed, felted wool. The company retains approximately 3,000 pounds of textiles monthly from landfills by partnering with companies like Goodwill Industries that cannot resell textiles. Products are made in the USA using 100% vintage materials embellished with vintage buttons.
