About

Atlanta Attachment Company designs and manufactures industrial sewing machinery and automated sewing workstations at its factory in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Elvin C. Price founded the company in 1969 in the basement of his home, building metal folders, hemmers, binders, and other attachments that helped apparel sewing operators guide fabric. The business moved into its first building in Doraville, Georgia in 1971, began construction on Industrial Park Drive in 1978 and moved to its current site in 2007, where an annex added in 2016 brought the facility to about 250,000 square feet.

The company serves commercial and industrial manufacturers rather than household sewers. Its equipment includes quilting machines, decorative border workstations, and packaging equipment for mattress producers, along with automated sewing systems for the furniture, automotive interior, and apparel industries. Note – not all products are made in the USA, and the ones that are have some imported materials and components.

Engineering, 3D CAD design and CNC machining take place in-house, and its Atlanta Precision Machining and Fabrication division performs custom machining and fabrication work. The company also runs a parts depot that sells replacement parts for other industrial sewing machine brands, including Juki. HSM purchased Atlanta Attachment in 2016, and ABM International of Montgomery, Texas, acquired it in 2025; it now operates as a division of ABM.
