Appointed was founded in 2016 with a mission to create the best, highest-quality American-made notebook. They wanted to create exceptional paper goods, believing that “beautiful tools inspire beautiful work”. Appointed not only wants to keep its customers organized and inspired with its notebooks but also uses the highest quality materials to ensure their notebooks can be used daily. Appointed is female-founded by Asian-American Suann Song, a graphic designer who spent 18 months researching how to create minimalist, chic, sustainable, quality notebooks. Appointed’s notebooks are proudly made in Washington, DC where they’re hands-on at every step of the process.
