Manufacturing Notes

American Blossom Linens are very transparent about their manufacturing process. They go to great lengths to ensure the entire process and all of their products are 100% American-made and sustainable. Their website shows which states they manufacture in as well as how many jobs they sustain:

• Texas, cotton farming – 250 jobs
• Georgia, packaging – 60 jobs
• Georgia, sewing and quality control – 70 jobs
• Georgia, finishing – 160 jobs
• South Carolina, weaving – 400 jobs
• North Carolina, elastic – 35 jobs
• North Carolina, spinning – 30 jobs

From start to finish, each manufacturing element has been carefully considered to result in the best quality products. They source their fiber from a collective of organic farmers, The Texas Organic Growers Co-op, who have farmed pesticide-free since the early ’90s. This cotton is then made into yarn and fabric at mills in North and South Carolina.

This organic American cotton is then spun and weaved using techniques that create a strong, single-ply yarn that resists pilling and stays smooth wash after wash. The traditional percale weave also ensures the fabric is crisp yet incredibly soft. This technique also allows more air to pass through, making it cool in summer and warm in winter. The fabric is then finished in Georgia using a formula that is environmentally friendly, pure, and chemical-free.

American Blossom Linens have also carefully considered their packaging, opting for a box made in the USA from 100% recycled content which also protects their products from damage when being transported. By using recycled-only cartons, it’s expected that their manufacturing plant saves 4,250 trees and 775,000 gallons of water each year.
