Connecticut was once home to some of America’s largest manufacturers, such as General Electric (GE), American Standard, Westinghouse, Pratt & Whitney, United Technologies, and Honeywell International. Today, however, these companies have left the state and it is primarily a service sector economy. However, there are still several great manufacturers around the state keeping the tradition alive and producing great products.
