Why It Matters
US law requires the country of origin to be labeled on the physical product or packaging, but that doesn’t apply to websites and marketing materials. And with so many American consumers shopping online, it is notoriously difficult to tell which products are made in the USA and which are imported.
So, we decided to take matters into our own hands. In addition to our written research, we now offer a Made in the USA Certification Program that brands can participate in tell customers they are verified 100% made in the USA by an unbiased third party (us).
How Certification Works
Here’s how it works:
- Companies submit an application.
- We review your application and verify that you are using exclusively US suppliers for raw materials and conducting all manufacturing domestically.
- Once verified, your application is approved, and you can showcase our AllAmerican.org verification badge in all your marketing.
- You’ll re-verify every year by your anniversary date to retain your certification status.
