About
Waterford Precision Cycles has been around since 1993, when they took over the research and production facility of Schwinn Bicycle Company’s Paramount Design Group. They offer custom designs and some stock designs from Gunnar. Waterford assembles everything in the US and sources some materials here, but they also have to use some international materials, like most other bike manufacturers in the US. They buy their tubes mostly from England, Italy, and Taiwan, in addition to some from US suppliers. The company makes their own dropout designs and uses some dropouts and inserts from local suppliers in California.
