Vantage Robotics is a San Leandro, California-based unmanned aircraft systems company founded in 2013 by engineers with backgrounds from Stanford, Yale, DARPA Grand Challenge programs, and defense industry organizations. The company designs and builds all of its drone products at its San Leandro headquarters, which also serves as its service and support facility. Vantage Robotics produces the Vesper ISR platform, a quadrotor equipped with a field-swappable stabilized gimbal carrying dual 4K electro-optical sensors and a thermal imager, along with the Trace nano reconnaissance drone designed for covert short-range surveillance. The company’s products are used by all branches of the U.S. Department of Defense, SOCOM, DHS, and federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies. Vantage Robotics has raised over 50 million dollars in funding from defense-focused investors and federal agency partners.
