Established in 2000, The Utilikilts Company was originally founded to help fund a global arts project of an interactive road show of music, dance, video, and drama that traveled around the world in seven double-decker buses. The success of the design created by Form Follows Function created the Utilikilts Company. The modern casual kilt has become a growing phenomenon. They are designed to be a comfortable and practical alternative to trousers. Utilikilts aims to set a global example by being a “business with a conscience” and socially, environmentally, and economically responsible by making their products in the USA.
