After finishing the Pacific Crest Trail in its entirety, Brian Frankle launched Ultralight Lifestyle – ULA in 2009. The business is dedicated to continuing to do all of its production in the USA. In 2019, ULA started making travel and daily packs out of waterproof X-pac fabric.
