Toor Knives produces fixed-blade knives at its facility at 1466 Pioneer Way in El Cajon, California, employing more than 30 craftspeople, engineers, machinists, and bladesmiths. The company was founded in 2014 by brothers Connor and Cameron Toor, a Marine Scout Rifleman and Army Ranger respectively, who began forging blades in their backyard using a hammer and anvil after identifying the limitations of mass-produced knives during military service. The El Cajon facility is equipped with CNC machines, heat-treating ovens, and precision grinding equipment, and the company maintains all production domestically.
