The idea of ThinOptics came from Teddy Shalon after meeting a friend who had forgotten his reading glasses and couldn’t read his texts. On the bike ride home, Teddy developed the idea of putting reading glasses on the backs of cell phones. During his research, he found that glasses had hardly evolved since the late 13th century. ThinOptics looked to develop thin, comfortable reading glasses that fit onto the back of your phone since you’re never without your phone! All of their reading glasses are made and shipped from the USA.
