About

Apex Hose is a garden and industrial hose brand operated by Teknor Apex Company, a family-owned polymer materials manufacturer headquartered in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. Teknor Apex was founded in 1924 by Alfred A. Fain as the Apex Tire Company, a small tire and retread business, and has since grown into a global producer of custom-compounded plastics and rubber materials with roughly 15 manufacturing facilities across the United States, Europe, and Asia.

The company’s hose division sells residential, commercial, and RV/marine hoses under brand names including zero-G, NeverKink, NexFlex, and Apex Pro. Teknor Apex markets its zero-G Pro hose as assembled in the United States, though the company has not publicly detailed which of its U.S. manufacturing sites produce its hose lines or specified whether all Apex-branded hoses share the same domestic assembly.

As a large custom polymer compounder, Teknor Apex supplies both its own hose products and materials used by other manufacturers, drawing on chemical and material science operations that span its global manufacturing network. Apex hoses are sold to residential customers as well as landscaping, farming, food service, and construction businesses.
