About
Swan Products traces its origins to 1927, when it was established as the Swan River Tire and Rubber Company, making it one of the earliest hose manufacturers in the United States. The company’s original tire and rubber business evolved over time into a dedicated watering products manufacturer, and it was acquired by private equity firm Jacobson Partners in 2013.
Now operating as Swan Products, LLC and headquartered in Sandy Springs, Georgia, the privately held company states that it is the largest hose manufacturer headquartered in the United States, supplying lawn and garden watering equipment across North America.
Swan manufactures its garden hoses, soaker hoses, rubber hoses, and RV and marine hoses domestically at company-operated facilities in Waco, Texas, and Sparks, Nevada, employing its own production staff to oversee quality and safety standards. Roughly 90 percent of Swan’s garden hoses incorporate recycled plastic and rubber, and the company says it repurposes more than 60 million pounds of such material each year.
Swan also sells hose accessories such as nozzles, connectors, and repair fittings, though the company’s domestic manufacturing claims on its website apply specifically to its hose products rather than its full accessory line.
