Established in 1903, Stormy Kromer was crafted after semi-pro baseball player and railroad engineer, Geroge “Stormy” Kromer kept losing his hat on the train in the Midwest weather. He asked his wife to make one that would be snug to his head and keep his ears warm and the rest is history! Stormy Kromer crafts wool caps with an earband to help adventurers, workers, and dreamers keep warm, no matter the weather. Stormy Kromer is a family-owned and operated business passionate about supporting American jobs and making sure their employees are well treated. The majority of their manufacturing is done in the USA, but the couple of items that aren’t are strategically chosen partners who share Stormy Kromer’s high standards of quality and ethics.
