SmartDrone Corporation is a Tyler, Texas-based drone manufacturer founded in 2020 with a focus on producing American-made mapping and surveying drones for land surveyors, civil engineers, and construction professionals. The company designs, manufactures, and supports its products at its Texas facility and markets itself as The U.S.A. Drone Company. Its flagship product, the Magellan survey drone, is an NDAA-compliant mapping platform that integrates enclosed LiDAR and camera payloads with the Pulse Data Processor software suite, and is designed to work with existing surveying software platforms, including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Trimble, and ArcGIS. SmartDrone also produces the Pulse software platform and field-check tooling under the CYAN product name. The Magellan platform was publicly unveiled at the Texas Society of Professional Surveyors conference in 2025.
