About
Prison Blues was established in 1989 as part of a challenge from the State of Oregon to create work skills programs for adults in custody at the Eastern Oregon Correctional Institution (EOCI). As a result, a 47,000-square-foot factory was constructed to manufacture American-made denim products for hardworking people throughout the world. When purchasing a Prison Blues product, not only are you getting high-quality, durable products but you’re also investing in people and changing the lives of adults in custody. The success of this program has meant it has been expanded to the Coffee Creek Correctional Facility (CCCF) for the production of Prison Blues accessories.
