Playtex is a manufacturer of tampons that are designed to provide protection for bodies in motion. Playtex was established in 1932 and has a long history of making bold moves. In 1962 they introduced the first plastic applicator tampon as a more comfortable alternative than the cardboard tampons currently on offer. They were also the first company to advertise tampons on television before they were even allowed to show the product on air. In 2022 they introduced tampons that use 40% less plastic. All Playtex products are made at their manufacturing facility in Dover, Delaware.
