About
Partner Steel Co. manufactures aluminum camp stoves and outdoor cooking equipment in Pocatello, Idaho. The company was founded in 1947 as a full-service metal fabrication shop, initially serving industrial clients including Simplot and Monsanto. Harvey Partner developed the camping stove line after river outfitters in Utah requested more fuel-efficient cooking equipment. He tested prototypes on a Grand Canyon river trip before spending several months refining the design. The company now produces lightweight aluminum cook stoves, water purifying systems, and toilet systems using CNC plasma tables and welding equipment. Partner Steel stoves are widely used in the commercial rafting industry throughout Idaho and across the country.
