Montana Knife Company (MKC) was founded by co-founder and Master Bladesmith Josh Smith who has been crafting knives since he was 11 years old. Josh found that blue-collar workers couldn’t afford quality knives, but those sold in stores were cheap and low-quality. So he set about making high-quality knives that serve the needs of hunters, fishermen, and real working people. Montana Knife Company is passionate about being made in the USA using materials and parts made in the US, and paying a good wage. They vow to NEVER ship production overseas and offer free sharpening and maintenance for life so that these knives can be passed down for generations to come.
