Magnum Research Inc (MRI) has been in business since 1979 and still has involvement from its owners. Jim Skildum and John Risdall took the Desert Eagle Pistol from a paper concept to a pop culture icon, with the firearm often seen in movies, television, and video games. MRI’s firearms were originally manufactured in Isreal by Isreal Military Industries before moving to Minnesota in 2009. They were bought by Kahr Firearms Group in 2010. All of their firearms are made with pride in the USA except for the Magnum Research 1911 and the Baby Eagle, which are made in Israel. Their website makes it easy to know where each weapon is made.
