Libbey is one of the largest glassmakers in the world, as well as one of the oldest. The company began in 1818 and quickly became an industry leader even then. It all started when Jehial Roush moved to Toledo, Ohio, with his new bride and started a small glassmaking shop that eventually grew into Libbey Glass Company.
Since then, Libbey has been acquired by Ball Corp., which is still headquartered in Toledo today. With over 180 years of experience behind them and facilities in more than 30 countries, it’s clear why they have won so many awards for their innovative products and environmental sustainability initiatives over the years.
