About
Kni-Co Manufacturing produces wood-burning wall tent stoves and camp stoves at its facility in Wallowa, Oregon. Ted Knight founded the company in 1981, starting in a small shop where he handcrafted tent stoves. Robert Burns acquired the business in 2000 and expanded the product line. The company underwent further expansion in 2021 under new management, increasing building size and adding equipment. Stoves are constructed from 22-gauge cold-rolled steel and assembled by hand. The product line includes the Alaskan, Packer, Trekker, Tundra, and Denali stove models, along with accessories such as stove pipe, dampers, and water tanks. Kni-Co holds ISO 9001:2015 certification and employs 18 workers at its single Oregon location. All stoves carry a lifetime guarantee on manufacturing defects and workmanship.
