Hutzler Manufacturing is a family-owned and operated business that has been making plastic houseware products for over 80 years. Founder Lothar Hutzler worked at this father’s successful cookware company in Germany until the Nazis came into power when he then moved to the U.S. With all metal going to the war effort, he started using plastic to make houseware products and pioneered several innovations. Holding hundreds of patents, they’ve manufactured in the USA since their earliest days and continue to manufacture as much as they can in their Connecticut factory. They are transparent on their website about which products are made in the USA.
