About
Henry Hyde Handmade Knives produces custom culinary knives from a workshop in Baltimore, Maryland’s Station North Arts District. Henry Hyde learned bladesmithing as an apprentice to master knife maker Quintin Middleton, an apprenticeship that shaped his approach to both technique and design. Hyde operates at limited production volume, with each knife handcrafted individually in styles including Wa Petty, Nakiri, and Bunka forms adapted from Japanese culinary knife traditions. The company also accepts custom commission orders and offers knife sharpening services for ongoing blade maintenance.
