Flexon Industries manufactures garden hoses and related watering products at facilities in Newark, New Jersey, and Anderson, South Carolina. The company was founded in 1956 by Alex Folkman, who led Flexon for more than 60 years before passing leadership to the next generation of the Folkman family, and it remains a family-run business today under Chairman Joseph Folkman.
Flexon’s product lines include Performance, Professional, Lightweight, Flextreme, and Specialty hoses for residential, farm, marine, and RV use. Flexon assembles its hoses domestically while sourcing some components globally, a hybrid approach the company says helps it manage tariffs, shipping delays, and other risks tied to fully overseas manufacturing.
Its production follows good manufacturing practice standards and incorporates recycled and recyclable materials into hose construction. Products including the Guardian, Guard-N-Grip, H2Zero, Featherlite, and PureFlo lines are sold through retail and specialty dealers across the United States.
