DPS was founded by ski enthusiasts Stephan Drake and Peter Turner in 2005. They were inspired by the idea of combining design, roots, and engineering to create perfect skis for those who live and breathe the sport. They use space-age carbon technology to make groundbreaking shapes for the world’s most advanced skis. DPS had been manufacturing overseas for 8 years before moving back to the USA and setting up a state-of-the-art factory in Utah. They are now the leading domestic producer of skis, hiring 35 production workers, and have innovated several products since manufacturing in the U.S.
